You can't leave. Trying to leave from one side of town causes it to loop to the other. You're expected to act like you're from the 50s or be droned; that's what they call all the stupid, oddly happy people who are here that think they've always been here.

The town also usually busts out some horrific crap once each month. Bad news is you're probably going to die. Good news is you don't stay dead.
