Horror One: This is not my home

[Wednesday does not scare easily. And considering she adored things that most people would run away screaming from. ....It is not a good sign she spent a few moments pressed against the wall in utter terror this morning. So, much pink....and frills.

After a while though she'll manage to gather herself together and pull apart the room in search of anything decently wearable before going out of her room ....and finding the pictures.

This. Is. Not. Her. Family. Hey Mayfield. Have a young girl's cool and emotionless voice on the phone.]

My name is Wednesday Addams and I would like to be connected to the Addams Family Residence.

Or the police. I seem to have been kidnapped.

[Housemates can find her wandering around the house with a knife in her hands. She's looking at some horror and disgust at the various things in the house.

Other people can find her looking around outside. She still has the knife and is wearing the darkest clothes she could find.]

Apparently everyone here has been kidnapped.

And for a child, you sound rather calm about this ordeal.

I can respect that.

My first reaction was to get as much information as possible... I admit haven't laundered much from this antique village.

I've gathered a few things.

First tell me, if you would please.

We are all kidnapped. The town loops on itself. Strange things happen once a month and we sometimes will be returned things taken away from us then. They want us to act like the smiling people.

Oh and death doesn't last here.

Interesting. Very interesting.

From what you describe, coupled with some of my past experiences, I would say we are trapped in some sort of pocket dimension or the like where all reality is molded to the whims of whoever runs it.

That or the typical tirade of we're all dead and this is our afterlife, but I find that incredibly doubtful.

They think it might be a small girl running it. Or someone pretending to be a small girl.

If this was the afterlife, I would expect more flames.

Wouldn't surprise me if she's one of those 5th Dimensional Imps.

As would I. Having been there once, this town would certainly be unbecoming of them.

An imp? Do they regularly create parallel dimensions to torment people in?

What was it like there?

There's been one persistent Imp I know of who's done that and much more to annoy and torment a... mutual acquaintance of ours.

It was as you expect. To put it bluntly, a very bad place. But not even they could hold me. I outsmarted them and cheated death.

An enemy?

I can only imagine what kind of world you're from.

Out of curiosity, can you see any reason for why you'd be kidnapped and brought here?

Where I come from, I am the smartest man in the world.
Surely they have taken me because they see me as a threat or to try and manipulate me to their own ends.

Then why would they bring everyone else here.

I'm not entirely sure. But I'm almost certain whoever is in control has some sort of plan for us all.

Perhaps they're waiting till they get the right amount of people.

You could be right.

But speculating about it isn't going to help. There must be a way out.
